About the event
She Roams Earth Day Cleanup
Papago Park + Tempe Town Lake | April 2026
This Earth Day, we’re coming together to give back to the trails and outdoor spaces that give us so much.
In partnership with Keep Nature Wild, Arizona Hiking Shack, and Just Roughin It, She Roams is hosting a community-wide clean-up, and you’re invited to be part of it.
You can participate in a way that works best for you, whether that’s on your own time or alongside our community.
How to Participate
Option 1: Clean Where You Are (April 10 – 22)
Prefer flexibility? This option is for you.
Stop by one of your favorite outdoor stores anytime between April 10 – 22 to pick up your clean-up supplies.
Just Roughin It (10880 N 32nd St, Ste 17, Phoenix, AZ 85028) or Arizona Hiking Shack (3244 E. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018)
Then:
- Choose a trail or outdoor space you love
- Pick a date that works for you
- Collect trash at your own pace
- Weigh what you collect
- Log your total using our tracking form
Option 2: Join the Group Clean-Up
Papago Park / Tempe Town Lake | Saturday, April 19
Join us for a community clean-up event where we come together to make an impact as a group.
Join us any time between 7:30 am and 11:30 am at the Hole in the Rock Trailhead to grab your supplies.
We’ll provide:
- Clean-up supplies
- Gloves + bags
- A fun, supportive community
You bring:
- Good energy
- A willingness to give back
- A friend (optional but encouraged!)
At the end, we’ll gather for a group weigh-in to see the collective impact we made together.
Why It Matters
Our outdoor spaces don’t stay beautiful on their own. They stay beautiful because people like you show up and take care of them.
This is about more than picking up trash; it’s about creating a culture of stewardship, connection, and respect for the outdoors.
Who This Is For
- Anyone who loves the outdoors (or wants to start)
- All experience levels welcome
No membership required, just show up.
