Upon completion of the class you will be invited for the continuing education classed for more advanced and personal skills.

Doug Mangum is a Certified Rope Technician and Mountain Guide with nearly 20 years of institutional training in climbing and mountaineering in both military and civilian settings as well as real world experience all around the globe. Doug has been exploring and adventuring in the mountains since he could walk and has called the Appalachian Mountains home for much of his life.
Kahler Kranz has climbed mountains and rocks all over the country and the world, Washington, New Hampshire, Spain, and West Africa just to name a few. He’s known as the Gear Wizard around the Hiking Shack and his passion for climbing is always evident. Kahler is a Certified Rope Technician, Wilderness First Responder, Rock Climber, and Mountaineer.
